Glider

Earlier in the year we did a project about the glider and I learned that the first one was created in 1900 and it was built just to fly. In 1901 they created a more advance glider. Oner because it was heavier and more usefull. In 1902 they built another glider and it was almost the same as the last one, just a little heavier. The glider they created in the year of 1903 was even better because it even had a motor to it it had an engine to fly with. they were used to fly with. The glider was invented by Sir George Cayel, sometime in the early 1800's. His glider was too small to have a pilot, but it did fly. The Wright brothers improved the glider and gave it the capability of directional flight in 1899. The glider was really invented because people wanted to fly and they wanted to get from one place to another. So i think that was a very good invention because that probably led to the invention of the airpane.Gliders were very important in worls war two because they help to carry things from one place to another. They were also another weapon for the Germans because they can get from one place to another.
